We are seeking an executive leader for our sales organization reporting directly to the CEO. In this role you will lead and manage the direct and indirect sales organizations to achieve maximum sales revenue and growth, provide strategic sales direction to acquire new accounts and customers, and work in partnership with marketing to create sales programs, training content and marketing materials which drive sales growth.
We prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of demonstrated success selling disposable medical devices into the surgical suite or other procedure suite areas of hospitals. Demonstrated success selling into hospital systems by navigating through VACs and new product committees is required. Previous management experience is required.
To be successful in this role you must be able to create and execute sales plans to meet established sales goals, create the sales forecast and budget, manage price negotiation within the company’s pricing rules, recruit, hire and manage the performance of high achievement employees, develop ethical, long-term customer relationships, participate in the preparation and delivery of sales training, legally operate a motor vehicle to travel to sales calls, handle product derived from porcine tissue and travel up to 70% of the time.
